intro
Since its inception in 1988, the Foundation has built on its recognized expertise to take action in a wide range of fields through the implementation of innovative, structuring projects.
Initially dedicated to contemporary Moroccan arts, the preservation and rehabilitation of heritage and the promotion of culture in its various forms, the Foundation's role initially took the form of the acquisition of artworks now recognized as exceptional, the rehabilitation of the Tinmel Mosque as part of the preservation of historical heritage and, finally, the creation of a museum in an Art Deco Villa known as the Villa des Arts in Casablanca. In 2006, the Villa des Arts concept was duplicated in Rabat with the creation of the Villa des Arts de Rabat.
Since then, to support Al Mada's global vision and its “Positive Impact” signature, the Foundation has broadened its areas of involvement to include Education, Entrepreneurship and the Environment.
