Launch of the “Stay Cashless” program to accelerate the digitization of tourism payments

On February 19 in Rabat, the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts, and the Social and Solidarity Economy, the Attijariwafa bank group, and Visa signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), marking the launch of the “Stay Cashless” program.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to modernize the tourism sector and promote electronic payments, aiming to improve the payment experience for both domestic and international tourists while enhancing the competitiveness of operators in the sector.
